In an effort to brand the town as
a tourist destination, the City of Woodinville identified more than 10 entry locations to act as visual gateways for visitors. All gateways share a similar plant palette, and were designed with a variety of outstanding colors and textures for a clear recognition that "you're in Woodinville now.” Having different grading and transportation characteristics, each location required different plant palettes, grading changes, and commercial negotiations to achieve a recognizable continuity across the city.
